Four hurt in bus-van crash on Route 82 | News, Sports, Jobs

BROOKFIELD — Four people were injured when a van ran a red light and was hit by a bus Wednesday afternoon on state Route 82 at Hubbard Bedford Road, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Tyler C. Schadt, 32, of Greenville, Pa., was driving east about 1:40 p.m. on state Route 82 in a 2019 Chevrolet Express Van from a heating and air conditioning business when it drove into the path of a northbound 2008 Community Bus Service school bus transporting Head Start students and driven by Sarah A. Miller, 44, of Southington, according to the patrol report.
Schadt received minor injuries and was treated at the scene, the report states. Miller was transported to St. Joseph Warren Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
