Prince George Free Press » Four Cariboo Canucks make the cut for Team North

Four Prince George minor hockey products were selected to Team North last weekend during a three-day selection camp at the Elksentre.
Under-17 Team North will take part in the B.C. Cup being held in Salmon Arm from April 28 to May 1.
Leading the way for Team North will be defencemen Garrett Thiessen and Darren Ezelyk, goalie Anthony Manfredi and forward Peter Nahal. All four played together with the North Central Cariboo Canucks, finishing second at provincials.
The U-17 programs is step two in the Canadian Hockey High Performance model. In total 120 athletes will participate with 46 moving on to a summer camp in Osoyoos.
