Fort Myers man charged in sexual assault arrested in Rhode Island

Hutchins was charged with the assaults in August and was free on $30,000 bond. He failed to appear for a Feb. 17 pre-trial conference on the case and a judge issued a warrant. 
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Task Force received a tip that Hutchins was heading to Providence, Rhode Island. The Marshals Providence Division found and arrested Hutchins in a hotel just outside Providence. 
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers reported that Hutchins was arrested around 8:30 a.m. Thursday and was in the company of a female and a young child.
Hutchins was previously convicted of lewd and lascivious conduct against a minor in 2008 and served a Florida prison sentence.
