Fort Collins police ask for public's help in homicide investigation

Police are asking for the public's help in investigating the homicide of a man in south Fort Collins that occurred Monday.
A man was found dead under a bridge in the 4600 block of Mason Street near the South Transit Center about 7:30 p.m. Monday. Police said "due to the man's condition" they began investigating the death as suspicious.
The Larimer County Coroner's Office ruled the man's death a homicide Tuesday, according to police. Other details, including the man's identity, will be released after the man's family is notified. 
Police have not identified a suspect. 
Anyone traveling near that area on Sunday or Monday is urged to contact police about any suspicious or unusual activity they witnessed, Chief Jeff Swoboda said in the news release.
