Former Yale nurse pleads guilty to stealing fentanyl, replacing with saline

NEW HAVEN — A former nurse at a Yale fertility clinic pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday in connection with her having taken fentanyl meant for patients and replacing it with saline.
At a Zoom hearing presided over by Judge Janet Hall, Donna Monticone pleaded guilty to one count of tampering with a consumer product. She faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, according to a release.
