HOLYOKE — An agency that tackles the tragedy of domestic violence has a new name — and fresh support from students at Westfield State University.
Students in the university’s advanced public relations program have launched a social media campaign, “Be A Hero
,” to raise support for Alianza of Holyoke. Formerly known as Womanshelter/Compañeras, the agency exists to reduce or prevent domestic violence.
