LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - An ex-deputy is on trial, accused of sex crimes involving children. Jurors heard testimony from three young girls in the trial of former Calcasieu Sheriff’s Deputy David Monceaux.
Late today, jurors heard Monceaux’s video confession admitting to sexual activity with the girls.
Monceaux is accused of two counts of first-degree rape and three counts of sexual battery of victims under thirteen. In this case, prosecutors say the three young girls ranged in age from four to eight at the time.
