Former Saskatchewan Mountie who shot lover in park to be sentenced for manslaughter

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — A former Saskatchewan Mountie who shot and killed his lover is to be sentenced today for manslaughter. Bernie Herman was convicted in January for the death of 26-year-old Braden Herman. The two men are not related.
