A former student at Carlton Comprehensive High School has been included with an elite group of musicians from across the country.
Troy Junker, 28, was one of 28 people selected by TD Bank and SOCAN for a National grant called the TD Incubator for Creative Entrepreneurship. The program provides emerging music creators with funding, mentorship, and the opportunity to participate in a progressive webinar series that will hone their skills of entrepreneurship, while providing them with the tools and resources needed to turn their talent into a sustainable career. The selection committee received over 1,000 applicants.
“It’s going to help me in the sense like just being able to continue learning about just how the music industry is moving forward and apply the knowledge to myself,” Junker told
