Former OPSEU treasurer rejects lawsuit allegations, says he had no 'financial education, training or experience'

Eduardo Almeida, the former long-time OPSEU treasurer named in a $6-million lawsuit launched by the public sector union over allegations of financial misconduct, says he had “no professional managerial or financial education, training or experience” and relied on the “expertise, guidance and direction” of the union’s president and staff.
