Former NATO General On Course to Become Next Czech President After 1st Round Win

The 61-year-old Pavel, who once headed the Czech army and the NATO Military Committee, won the first round with 35.40 per cent of the vote, ahead of former premier Babis, who he'll meet in a run-off in two weeks, with 34.99 per cent.
