Former Marine reservist Jia Liu, of Queens, sentenced to 21 months in prison for stealing, forging and distributing fraudulent COVID-19 vaccination cards

Liu and his co-conspirator Steven Rodriguez, a nurse from Long Beach, pleaded guilty in April 2023 to conspiracies to defraud and obstruct the U.S. response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
