Former Idaho governor candidate charged with killing 12-year-old Colorado girl in 1984 goes on trial

Steve D Pankey, 70, was arrested in October 2020 for kidnapping and murdering Jonelle Matthews, 12, in December 1984 and his trial began Wednesday, October 13.
