SEATTLE, WA - Baltimore Orioles pitcher made history, Wednesday, becoming the first alumni of the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs to pitch a no-hitter in the major leagues.
Means kept zeroes across the board in the O's 6-0 win over the Seattle Mariners, striking out 12 batters on 113 pitches.
His gem is the first no-hitter in Baltimore franchise history since 1991, when four pitchers combined for the feat, but the first individual no-hitter since Jim Palmer did it in 1969.
