Former Chief Justice Ellen Ash Peters Remembered As A Trailblazer For Women In Connecticut

Former Chief Justice Ellen Ash Peters, who was both the first woman to serve on the Connecticut Supreme Court as well as its first female chief justice, has died, the court announced on Wednesday. She was 94 years old. Peters led a life of firsts.
