SEREMBAN: A Bangladeshi man allegedly killed his fellow countryman and buried his remains near a worker’s quarters at a construction site near here.
Seremban district police chief ACP Mohd Said Ibrahim said the 29-year-old suspect, who also worked at the construction site, apparently had a misunderstanding with the 30-year-old victim, who also worked there.
"He allegedly killed the victim by hitting him with a piece of wood and then buried his remains near their kongsi.
"Their employer reported the matter to us after he became suspicious as he had not seen the victim for some time," he said.
ACP Mohd Said said the suspect tried to escape around 6.30pm yesterday (July 21) when the employer began questioning him about the victim’s whereabouts but was caught.
