very happy Friday, everyone. I'm meteorologist Robert, sir, with a check of your forecast right here on forty twenty nine t v dot com. Busy night in store. Weather wise, it is a severe night for northwest Arkansas, not for the River Valley. But that doesn't mean that if you're watching this from the river valley, you shouldn't pay attention because it's gonna be an active night. We are going to see rain developed tonight for just about everybody. The heaviest should be across northwest Arkansas. As I said, it will be heavy at times with embedded thunderstorms, especially across northwest Arkansas. One or two of those could be strong, even severe at times. And with that heavy rain, we're looking at about one to three inches of rain possible, which could lead to some flash flooding issues. Which is why the National Weather Service Office in Tulsa has put northwest Arkansas under a flash flood watch through noon tomorrow, you get up into MacDonald County and other counties across southwestern Missouri. A general flood watch is in effect for that area through tomorrow as well. It's all because of this stationary front that's kind of meandering all over the place right now. It's basically right over the river valley, but it is expected to slowly lift its way further to the north and on the northern side of that stationary front. That's where most of the shower and storm activity is expected to develop. As we go through the overnight hours, you can really see a difference in temperatures mid to upper seventies south of that front. You're only in the upper sixties north of that front, just fifty nine right now as of this taping in the Rogers area. So well, here's what we're looking for tonight. Those showers and storms to develop heavy at times, I think maybe the worst of it. Maybe while many of us are asleep. But don't be surprised if you get woken up by a clap of thunder out there and again. Flash flooding possible across northwest Arkansas Mild night for your Friday night tomorrow. Still a severe day through about mid morning, and then we're gonna pump the brakes on the severe day morning showers and thunderstorms, I think will be over by between ten and noon. I think it's a good window to end the precipitation. Another very warm days that warm front will be to the north of us, so all that warm air will be able to filter into our region. That's why we're looking at highs in the lower to mid seventies. I have much more on all the rainfall coming up in my full forecast at five and six on ABC, nine on the Arkansas C W and then ten o'clock back on ABC. Have a good evening, everyone.
