For some, gruelling days
Why, when imposing a sudden lockdown, does the Victorian government turn a blind eye to the lessons learned from past lockdowns about the debilitating effects of isolation? Five days is a short time for those of us who are physically and mentally robust, but for others, it is a tunnel too long to see the light at the end. Singles bubbles should be facilitated at every lockdown. Residents of aged care facilities should continue to be visited by their families and key support people, using the same precautions as those who attend to their physical needs.
