The Wood Buffalo Food Bank (WBFB) wants to come to you after being forced to “cancel, alter or postpone three fundraisers and food drives” in the past year.
After recently delaying its annual spring food drive in April, WBFB spokesperson Anna Noble said staff will be visiting homes to collect donations off of front steps. During a normal year, volunteers stationed outside all grocery stores in the Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo area would spend the weekend loading donations into trucks.
