Elevation project moving forward on Addison Mizner-designed home following legal dispute
Ann Desruisseaux considered de-landmarking the home on South County Road amid a conflict with neighbors, but now is working to raise and restore it.

After a long-running dispute with neighbors nearly derailed her efforts to elevate and restore an historic home on South County Road, Ann Desruisseaux is moving forward with renovation plans.
Desruisseaux, who is co-trustee of the Desruisseaux land trust that purchased the Venetian-style home for $24 million in January 2020, earned unanimous approval from the town's Landmarks Preservation Commission last week to make a variety of modifications to the lakefront estate that was designed by Addison Mizner and built in 1923.
