Flying Agent takes out Scotty Stewart Brierly Steeplechase
A fast finishing 'Flying Agent' flew to the line in the 2021 3YB FM Scotty Stewart Brierly Steeplechase, to claim trainer Amy McDonald her first win at the carnival.
The pre-race favourite stormed to the front with Darryl Horner (jnr) aboard, overtaking 2019 winner 'Bit Of A Lad' on the final straight, to win by two and a half lengths.
Speaking to racing.com following the race, McDonald said it was a relief after a nervous day.
"He's amazing, I can't thank the owners enough to show the faith and send him over, and everyone that's had a bit to do with it, just amazing" she said.
