Duval County's push for COVID vaccines continues as fully vaccinated hits 220,000 milestone
More than 8 million Floridians have now received a vaccine against COVID-19, as statewide vaccination efforts continue against the coronavirus pandemic.
So far, the Florida Department of Health reports that 8,370,705 Floridians have received a COVID-19 vaccination, including 5,554,268 who have completed their vaccination series.
The state's figures do not yet account for the potential rise in vaccination figures likely to follow the reinstatement of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Federal regulators lifted their pause Friday on the vaccine, which had stopped a week and a half ago after reports of a very rare but serious clotting disorder in several patients. | Read more
