Newsweek, July 13, 2021 ]. And of course there were GOP calls for taking in more Cuban refugees. As a Venezuelan immigrant, the Cuban government is no object of my admiration. But it’s laughable to suggest that it poses an existential threat to the US compared to America’s mounting immigration disaster. The National Question remains king among issues that must preoccupy patriots. And these Cuban Conquistador-Americans are no help.
