ALBANY — A new moratorium on evictions and foreclosures became law Monday, passed by both houses of the Legislature and immediately signed by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo.
The law is crafted to extend and flesh out the existing moratorium that was put in place by the governor through executive orders earlier this year.
