Five dead, at least 35 hurt as tornadoes tear through US state of Iowa, destroy wind turbines

One tornado which tore through the centre of the small town of Greenfield, south-west of Des Moines, left a wide trail of obliterated homes, splintered trees and crumpled cars, before bringing down turbines at a nearby wind farm.
