The five finalists for the newly created Jackson County Administrator position were released this morning.  The finalists are:
Andrea Aukrust currently serves as the City Administrator for the City of Hector, Minnesota, where she has been in the position for nearly three years. Prior to that, she served as Co-Owner/Manager of Davis Rental Properties in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, for 18 years. She has also been employed as the Coordinator of the Faribault, Martin, and Jackson Multi-Counties Adult Substance Abuse and Family Dependency Treatment Courts through a contracted grant position with Mayo Health Systems for over one year. Other positions she has held include a grant position in Rehabilitative Services for the Sioux Trails Mental Health Center in New Ulm, Minnesota, for nearly two and a half years, and as the City Administrator/EDA Director for the City of Spicer, Minnesota, for one year. Ms. Aukrust holds bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Marketing and a master’s degree in Urban Planning.
