For those embarking on a new exercise programme, one important aspect that often gets overlooked is the importance to let the body rest and recover.
Jason Eaton, general manager at theclub and spa at Cadbury House, knows all too well the importance to rest, having played professional football for many years.
Jason said: “Rest and recovery is an important aspect of any exercise programme because it allows the body time to repair and strengthen itself in between workouts.
“It’s important as it replenishes glycogen (energy stores) and provides time for body tissue to repair itself.
