Chief Jeffrey Copenace of the Ojibiways of Onigaming First Nation told those gathered at the annual meeting of the Assembly of First Nations in Halifax his community is reeling from grief, but feel their pleas for assistance to all levels of government and First Nations organizations are falling on deaf ears.
