First Muslim chaplain appointed in Nassau police department provides bridge to community

Nassau Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder said the eight Muslim officers on the force will now have "somebody they can identify" with the appointment of Rashid Khan, adding "If you understand the community you police, you police that community better."
