TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Wednesday morning!
It's a more mild feel stepping outside this morning with temperatures in the 50's and a few clouds. Calm winds and saturated air is leading to some development of fog outside this morning so be sure to carve out a few extra minutes for the commute. It'll be a pleasant, warm afternoon as highs top out in the lower 80's with partly cloudy skies and winds from the south. Today will be our last dry day in the forecast before showers and storms return tomorrow through the weekend. The next cold front will approach western areas by Thursday afternoon, triggering additional cloudiness and a few showers and storms. The front will linger for a few days and become a point for more rain and thunderstorm actions throughout the weekend, with some risk for strong wind gusts with the strongest storms for areas west of Tallahassee. While it's still a few days out, Saturday is looking like the peak for local rainfall coverage with a few stronger storms and heavy rainfall at times.
