Firm hire: Exizent appoints non-exec chairman

Glasgow-based technology firm Exizent, which connects legal services firms with banks and the wider financial services community, has appointed Mitchel Lenson as non-executive chairman.
Lenson served as managing director, global head of operations and operations IT at global investment house UBS Warburg, and director of group operations at Credit Suisse First Boston, before becoming group chief information officer at Deutsche Bank from 2000-2005.

Lenson sits on the board of Currency Cloud, which allows fintechs to easily build cross-border payments and FX functionality into their platforms, and BioCatch, the global leader in AI-driven behavioural biometrics. He was previously a long-serving non-executive director at Nationwide Building Society.
