CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — There are only a few days remaining until the start of a new year, which means fireworks stands across the Coastal Bend are open for business.
"New Year's, it's a pretty big holiday for a lot of people, said Nina Newton, owner of Punisher Pyros. "They can blow off steam, especially after the year that we've had."
