Firefighters tackle bonfires at Royal Victoria Country Park

FIREFIGHTERS raced to a popular country park to tackle multiple blazes over the Easter weekend.
Crews were called out to Royal Victoria Country park to extinguish two bonfires.
Firefighters from Hightown Fire Station were on the scene in Netley on Sunday night.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A crew from Hightown Fire Station attended Royal Victoria Country Park at 7.40pm on Sunday, April 4 and used one hose reel jet to extinguish two bonfires. "Police were requested to attend and the stop message came in at 8.04pm."
