Firefighters quickly control wildland fire and a structure fire near Quincy
In addition to containing these two fires Saturday near Quincy, firefighters also contained a wildland fire early in the morning that was burning near Taylorsville.

QUINCY, Calif. – The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office reported that two fires were burning at the same time on Saturday afternoon in the Quincy area.
The wildland fire was burning off of Ridgerun Road. The structure fire was also on Ridgerun Road, the Sheriff’s Office said they do not believe the two fires are related.
