Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at an unoccupied house in Providence early Monday morning.
The house at 198 Warrington Ave. was "fully involved" when firefighters got there, according to a tweet from the Providence Fire Fighters union.
The Fire Department was called at 5:10 a.m. with "heavy fire" reported on all floors, according to Lindsay Lague, public information officer for the Providence Public Safety Commissioner.
A second alarm "was dispatched sending forty-seven firefighters to get this fire under control," the union tweet said.
Video by Chris Palmer shows flame pouring from the house in the pre-dawn darkness.
Nobody was injured, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, Lague said.
