BAGHDAD At least 82 Covid patients were killed and 110 injured in a Baghdad Covid-19 hospital fire in the wee hours on Sunday, the Iraqi interior ministry said. At least 28 patients were on ventilators battling
severe symptoms of the virus.
“The interior ministry announces the death of 82 people and injury of 110 in the Ibn al-Khatib fire accident,” it said in a statement carried by state media.
