Fire in Harker Heights Community Park restroom causes 'extensive smoke damage'

HARKER HEIGHTS, TX — Harker Heights Parks and Recreation Department says a men's restroom at Community Park was vandalized Wednesday evening.
On its Facebook page, the Harker Heights Parks and Recreation Department says the trash can was lit on fire which caused extensive smoke damage to the bathroom which is located near the playground area.
The restroom will be closed for the time being due to maintenance.
