A Toms River home where the 1979 movie “The Amityville Horror” was filmed was damage by a fire early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Police and firefighters were called to Brooks Road home around 1:30 a.m. for a report of an explosion and fire at house and when they arrived, a neighbor told first responders that nobody was inside the home, according to Toms River Police Spokeswoman Jillian Messina.
