A576 reopens between M60 and Crumpsall after fire - recap
Transport for Greater Manchester has urged motorists to seek alternative routes

The A576 has reopened after vehicle fire forced its closure in both directions this morning, between J19 of the M60 and Blackley Cemetery and Crematorium.
The route was shut north of Crumpsall, adjacent to Heaton Park.
In a tweet at 3.58am, Transport for Greater Manchester said the road was closed due to a vehicle fire - and urged motorists to find alternative routes.
TfGM's tweet read: "Road closed at the junction of A576 Middleton Road / Victoria Avenue in both directions.
