Update, 4 p.m.: It appears as though the field fire was started by a passing train and its sparks, according to Clarksville Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Michael Rios.
“There was a 20-foot area around the train tracks, and that most likely it looked like a train came through and shot a spark out, and then from there the wind picked up,” Rios said.
