MEDFORD, Ore. -- The Jackson and Josephine County Forestland Classification project is nearing completion. The Classification Committee has scheduled one last Public Meeting and a Public Hearing on March 17, 2021 via Zoom. The Public Meeting will begin at 7:00 PM, directly followed by the Public Hearing. At the Public Hearing, landowners will have a chance to give written or verbal testimony on the draft results, and the process that the committee used. To participate, landowners must sign up to give testimony by emailing natalie.r.weber@oregon.gov prior to Tuesday, March 16 at 5 p.m. The committee will evaluate this testimony prior to the final results of the classification being submitted to the County Clerks for certification on April 1.
