The depiction has caused objections from spiritual leaders in the state, and a lawyer has sent a legal notice to the temple asking for the blocks to be removed. This is not the first time the sect has faced controversy over their comments about Hindu deities. Hindu organisations in Gujarat are calling for a resolution to the issue.
