Egyptian giants Zamalek will be slapped with a transfer ban by FIFA at the end of the month unless the club complies with a court order from the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Zamalek have been given a period of 30 days within which to pay around $1.1 million (R16.4 million) to former player Benjamin Acheampong or risk being handed a transfer ban by world football's governing body.
That comes after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled in December that the five-time African champions had unlawfully forced the Ghanaian striker into breaking his contract with the club in 2018.
