Fentanyl Crisis Growing In Lafayette Parish
According to activists with Acadiana Harm Reduction when Covid-19 hit last year the Lafayette Coroner's Office saw 50 deaths total and already this year they've seen more than 40 deaths in Lafayette Parish.

LAFAYETTE, LA - The Lafayette coroner's office is now reporting an increase in fentanyl use throughout the parish.
According to activists with Acadiana Harm Reduction when Covid-19 hit last year the Lafayette Coroner's Office saw 50 deaths total and already this year they've seen more than 40 deaths in Lafayette Parish.
Christy Couvilier, a recovering addict since 2016 hopes things get better as the crisis increases.
