THACKERVILLE — So much for Tiger King Park.
All the big cats are gone now from the private zoo that never opened to the public and now likely never will.
Federal authorities last week completed the removal of the remaining 68 big cats from the property a few miles north of the Oklahoma-Texas border.
They also removed a jaguar.
The rocky start to the zoo was chronicled in the final episode of the Netflix true-crime documentary series, "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness."
Zookeeper Jeff Lowe and his wife, Lauren, came to fame last year when the Netflix series became a cultural phenomenon at the start of the pandemic. They moved the big cats to the location in Thackerville after shutting down the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in August.
