A FedEx delivery man has been seriously injured when he was attacked by dogs while delivering a package in the Southern Illinois town of Kampsville.
Authorities say the dogs’ owners were not home when the worker delivered the package Friday, but two bulldogs inside the house managed to unlatch the door and get outside, where they attacked the man. The worker suffered severe injuries to his arm and had to be airlifted to a St. Louis hospital for treatment.
The dogs have been impounded and may be euthanized.
