The Louisiana Department of Transportation issued closings for bridges, overpasses and interstate ramps in northeastern Louisiana starting Feb. 11.
Those closings were rescinded as temperatures warmed and roads and bridges cleared of ice and snow over the weekend.
Louisiana DOTD has crews monitoring roads and bridges when it's safe to perform emergency operations. Maintenance and openings will be prioritized by traffic volume.
Some roads and bridges may become unsafe before a closure notice is issued. Motorists are urged to use caution and not drive when conditions are hazardous.
