A proposed charge on vehicles entering Liverpool city centre has split opinion and raised fears it could drive shoppers to the Trafford Centre or Cheshire Oaks.
We reported today that Liverpool is moving closer towards charging drivers to enter the city centre with senior councillors set to back the idea in principle.
