The FBI and Navajo Department of Criminal Investigations continue to seek information about the disappearance of a Navajo woman near Pinon. Authorities say Jamie Lynette Yazzie was last seen near Pinon on June 30th, 2019 and hasn’t been seen since. Yazzie is five-foot-five and 230 pounds with brown hair and black eyes and worked as a nursing assistant. She also goes by Jamie Montoya. Special Agent in Charge Sean Kaul says “we are confident someone has information about the circumstances surrounding the disappearance and possible death of Jamie Lynette Yazzie.” He adds: “we hope this reward will encourage anyone with information to come forward and do the right thing. We are committed to bring justice to Jamie Yazzie, her family, friends and the entire Pinon community.” The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person, or people, responsible for the disappearance.
