Electric vehicle stocks are scorching, oil stocks are gushing. To chase or not to chase, thats do question ill be the question ill be asking some of the best. We are waiting for the paddenning of the thanksgiving pardoning of the thanksgiving turkey or turkeys. All that and so much more on making money. Charles the broad market propelled out of the gate powered by continued excitement over that midday announcement yesterday that janet yellen will be heading the Treasury Department. Then theres also the transition of power at the white house and continued strong corporate earnings. Wall street professionals find themselves chasing a train long after its left the station. Remember, they were complaining about this or that. Blackrock, in fact, says its now overweight u. S. Stocks with 40 technology and Communication Services alone, only 11 in european stocks. While theyre not really the worst problems like buying stocks or holding during those violent selloffs, chasing bigtime rallies is tough as well. I think it comes from overthug mostly and, sadly overthinking, and sadly, a lot of opportunities are missed. Lets find out what our market pros are thinking, ceo eddie gabor, new street advisers and ceo and cio and Gibbs Wealth Management president aaron gibbs. First, weve got to start with this janet yellen news. From the moment it was announced yesterday around 2 50, then e it was sort of confirmed, the market has been up. And why not . When she was the head of the Federal Reserve, the s p. Rally ared 59 . And the only time she really ran afoul of wall street was that loan rate hike in 2015. She held off and didnt hike again until after the election in 2016. Its clear wall street loves yellen at the treasury. So, aaron, what is it about janet yellen that wall street is so excited about . Well, for one, were very familiar with her, you know . Its someone with we know. Charles you know elizabeth warren. [laughter] this is true. Admittedly, youre right. I think we have very fond memories of the yellen years. No, i think its because we know that shes very datadriven, very thoughtful, shes not going to come out with anything extreme. So its something that you have an idea that shes really going to work towards the health of the markets, and i think thats really what the market is saying, that shes a supporter of the u. S. Markets. Charles eddie, i think some would say money printing, money printing, money printing, and when youre not sure what to do, more money prohibiting. Wall street loves that, dont they . They sure do. And you have someone, the market feels like were going to continue this path versus someone whos going to come in and tighten up monetary policy. Shes proven herself when she was the fed chair that shes pretty dovish and, again, the market loves that. Charles all right. Well, its moving the market, certainly, and the broad market, by the way, is going to get some tongues wagging about irrational exuberance, but i think its too early for that. However, the moves in electric vehicles, those fuel cell stocks, they have been the very definition of parabolic. They already went to orbit, and yesterday eddie, i want to go back to you because tesla is a name youve mentioned on this show. Do you still like it . Do you like others in this space . I still love tesla. Im sticking with tesla. I feel like theyre best of breed. I will say for day trade ors and young investors, i think if youve got a 90 move in some of these in a month, take some money off the table, play with house money and wait to come back in. But i do think tesla long term is going to reward investors. Charles yeah. I had a stock yesterday on my Trading Service went up 234 yesterday, dpw. I mean, we were out of it before the day was over. Delano, i know youve got client s in nio, i hate to admit it, i got out. How much more upside is there . I think theres still room on the upside for certain clients that it makes sense. Were looking at the growth in those industries, thats the biggest thing. Younger investors, certainly, are looking at the growth in those industries and how they can really reshape things Going Forward. You had nio, what the chinese governments looking to do as far as i ecofriendly vehicles in 2035, i think theres still room to the upside in that play. Charles its just absolutely amazing because globally, and particularly in america, the actual adoption of these vehicles to the point where you might justify these moves seems far away. But i do want to bring up elon musk. You know, news flash, folks, second rushest person on the planet, certainly richest person on the planet. He got there with teslas stock, and i think its important to note that anyone watching this show could have owned this stock. Ive mentioned tesla on this network at 40 a share. And i know so many people who have been sitting on the fence, even more always complaining about wealth disparities in this country. Youve got to realize its the stock market, anyone and everyone should, in my mind, invest. You know, the people who are taking risks are getting the big rewards, and i just wanted to say that because stop complaining about everyone else and get in the game yourself. By the way, these socalled reopening trades, i call them normalization trades, are sizzling as well. And this time ive got to tell you, nothing feels temporary like people going back and forth. Erin, you know, before you get in these airlines for a couple days and trade, the cruise liners, but now it feels like you might want to be in these stocks as longterm ideas, notes inly trades. Yeah. November so far this months date, november has been the biggest reversal month meaning the laggards, all the losers from the earlier part of this year are now the winners this month. And this is the biggest reversal weve seen since 2009, you know, coming off the 2008 recession. So this is a real trend and a big difference. And its not just your airlines. Energys been one of the biggest winners for november. But also id say look down across the market cap spectrum. Small caps have almost had a double the pace for the s p large caps for november month to daut. So thats another area that people can really look at and get into. Charles yeah. And thats something that probably is going to last much longer than just november. Charles i love the russell 2000 move there. The top stocks there, of course, penn gaming, caesars is in there, Churchill Downs is part of that. To me, if you want to say were the hot niches in this country, it might be a better representative than the other indices. Delano, how are you feeling about this, some of these other areas . Is this a trade or can you really start to build positions into hotels, airlines and the cruise ships . Yeah, i think for clients ive been spreading and making sure to hedge with our value and cyclical stocks mainly through e tfs. But as you mentioned, if you have retail like dollar tree which reported earnings earlier this morning and did really well, im looking for that essential nature in the business as well as having a strong retail strategy if were really going to expose to a single name. But the trend is increasing and i think, you know, if youre smart, youre going to have to be making sure you have positions carefully in your portfolio. But thats something im definitely looking for and adding to for clients. Charles of course erin just mentioned the oil names, energy patch before today the oil sector, energy up 37 . A lot of these broken down names are really starting to look a lot more compelling. Its not just the oil company stocks, but a whole lot of other niches in this market. So on that note, eddie, are you looking outside . I mean, i looked today to material names, phenomenal. The 3d printing stock looked phenomenal. It just feels like broken down lawyers where you want to sort of areas where you want to sort of suft through the rubble and find the articles. I do. A few weeks ago i thought it was a good time to get into boeing. I liked the aerospace, thats been beaten down this year. I agree with small aps. I think the caps. I think the russell will be the best performing index 12 the months out. And i love the travel stocks. Theres so much pentup demand that i think the second half of next year we will probably have record amounts of money spent on travel. So i think if you have the risk tolerance, buy those stocks, hold on to em for a year and get handsomely rewarded for the risk that you took. Charles i know im going to every concert in the tristate area, i dont care the genre of music, and then im going to get on a plane, erin, and go somewhere and watch the same show over. Real quick before we wrap up though, were all excited everyone should be, i think but, erin, whats the number one concern near term that maybe is being overlooked right now . Well, id say, certainly, some of the risks that we have in concentration, some of the regulatory issues that we could be facing even postpandemic. And then, of course, any type of hiccup. If we see an issue with getting the vaccine out to people, that could delay it. But i think very happy about the medical responses and the Overall Economic recovery, so i think its really about how long is the recovery going to take and how long charles right, right. Is the heightened unemployment going to take. Overall, we think were going to be out of the woods by the third quarter. Charles ive got rick scott coming up, senator scott will talk about the fiscal package, and secretary azar will talk about distribution. Thank you very much. Meanwhile, folks, President Trump vowing to keep fighting despite allowing the transition to officially start. So whats the strategy Going Forward . Were going to get insight from his legal team. Jenna ellis is next. Plus, vaccine optimism giving fuel to this market, but how exactly do we get it into your arms . And, by the way, whos going to be first . No one better to ask than hhs secretary alex azar. Hes up at 2 35. For over 30 years, lexus has been celebrating driveway moments. Heres to one more, the lexus december to remember sales event. Lease the 2021 rx 350 for 419 a month for 36 months and well make your first months payment. Experience amazing at your lexus dealer. Charles so as more and more states certify the results and the federal government now officially recognizing joe biden at the apparent winner of the election, whats the move for President Trump and husband his legal team . He will fight on. One of his attorneys, jenna ellis, joins us now. Jenna, thanks for joining us. We all saw the news yesterday where President Trump and the gsa, so theyre moving forward with the transition process but also President Trump says the legal fight goes on. Again, we talked before about the clock tucking down. State after state now certifying these election results. So whats the strategy from here . Well, President Trump said it very rt ly in his tweet perfectly earlier today when he said that the General Services administration does not select the next president of the united states. And so because there is doubt about who that will be, and lets remember that the Electoral Colleges which is our constitutional process does not vote until december 14th, we have plenty of time to pursue all legal options. Then this is just making sure that we have the reassurance of government to make sure that we will have a peaceful transition into President Trumps next term or if that ends up being joe biden. And so this is simply a procedural step, and the Mainstream Media rushing the try to say that this is over for President Trump. He has no legal options. Far from it, charles, and he is committed to defending election integrity. Ive spoken with him personally multiple times just today. Hes absolutely committed to making sure this is a free and father process. Finish fair process. Charles theres no doubt about the fact that wall street is happy to see this move, jenna. And i think its admirable to go through with this, because the peaceful transition of power is one of the hallmarks of our nation. Finish you talk about the legal remedies. Some of these cases are either thrown out or stall, the question im trying to get and im trying to learn from you is whats the next move or moves that youre going to do as the clock continues to tick down. Well, importantly are, we have a pending appeal before the supreme court. We also have one in the Third Circuit that just yesterday agreed to hear an expedited appeal, and really importantly, we now have three state legislatures in pennsylvania, michigan and arizona, that have agreed to hold hearings because its in everyones best interests and all americans to make sure that the truth about the voter fraud and the proof that we have comes out. And so they are very concerned. And lets remember that its the state legislatures that are constitutionally vested with the Selection Process of the Electoral College are delegates. Thats the safeguard that we have in our system to make sure that elections that are corrupted do not ultimately render a wrong selection for the president that is outside of what the people actual voted for. So we now have three state legislatures that are very concerned about the corruption of this election and willing to get to the bottom of it. So this is far from over, and President Trump will continue to fight. Charles all right. Well, jenna, i always appreciate when you come on and update us about this. So, of course, thank you very much. Rewe appreciate it. Meanwhile, folks, joe biden introducing his first cabinet picks just to the public a short time ago. The question is will they all get through the senate. Senator rick scotts going to weigh in on that. Meanwhile, the pandemic isnt stopping consumers from tackling their christmas shopping, by the way, are you buying more or hess isthis year . Tweet me cb payne. Im buying more. The market. Its smarter Trading Technology for smarter trading decisions. Fidelity. Birds flyin high, you know how i feel. Breeze drifting on by you know how i feel. Its a new dawn. Call your doctor if worsened breathing, chest pain, mouth or tongue swelling, problems urinating, vision changes, or eye pain occur. Take a stand and start a new day with trelegy. Ask your doctor about oncedaily trelegy. And save at trelegy. Com. Charles momentsing ago joe biden formally announcing his National Security team as the transition moves forward. Biden expected to choose former fed chair janet yellen to become the first woman at the Treasury Department to be the secretary there. That pick making wall street extremely happy. Of course, you can see by the markets reaction yesterday and today. So will bidens other picks make it through the senate . I want to bring in republican senator rick scott of florida. First of all, senator scott, before we get to all of that, i recently understand that you were diagnosed with the coronavirus. Just wanted to see how you were feeling. Im doing fine. Its been like a mild cold or allergies. Almost out of quarantine, is so im doing fine. Get back to a normal life. Wear your mask, social distance. You know, we havent beaten this. Im looking forward to the vaccines so everybody can get the antibodies which i, hopefully, have now. Charles well, in the meantime, joe biden has laid out some picks so far. And the ones that stand out to me, tony blinken, of course, at state. Then weve got the climate czar, of course, and then moments ago comments from the potential u. S. Ambassador on multilateralism. Are they all, do you think theyll all make it through . Which ones concern you the most . Well, first off, i think everyones still waiting for the election to get certified, watch to see how these lawsuits go. But what everybody everybodys going to do is step back and look at, okay, are they honest, are they ethical, what have they said in the past, what are they going to hold our enemies accountable like the communist party of china and the ayatollah in iran with regard to monetary and fiscal policy . Do they understand we have 27 trillion of debt and a Federal Reserve thats got a 7 trillion balance sheet, medicare and Social Security not funded, how are they going to like to understand what theyre going to do, because theres a day of reckoning of never living within our means. Charles theres no doubt about that. But i think i can answer those questions for you now, those will not be high on the agenda. Multilateralism will be back on the agenda, globalism will be back on the agenda and probably interference in other nations particularly when it comes to foreign engagements in wars, that might be high on the agenda. So as far as the other things, the fiscal responsibility, sir, i dont think will be on there. I do want to point out, in fact, breaking news, the states handling of the coronavirus pandemic, we know its different than a lot of other states, and we have the Consumer Confidence report. It comes out florida and texas, the states with the highest confidence. Of course, no lockdowns, they both have been a lot more liberal with respect to peoples individual rights and freedoms. Is that why confidence among floridas citizens is significantly higher than it is in many of these blue states . I think so. I mean, i think we all know that we have a virus. We also know that we have to op our economy. We have to open our schools. We have to get, you know, get back to our jobs. And so weve got an issue, weve got to all fight it. Masks, social distancing. And weve got some things that are heading in the right direction. These vaccines, i gotten an update last week, i mean, its exciting whats happening with these vaccines. I it looks like well have vaccines out starting next month, and so well start the taking care of some of our citizens over the next two months, all of us will have the opportunity. Charles speak of blue states, new York Governor Andrew Cuomo is taking on the state, people in the state, of course, you know, theres major crackdowns in a lot of these areas over thanksgiving, gatherings of more than 10 people, some states as little as 7 people. In your mind, are elected officials, should elected officials really be this willing to go to war with their own citizens over Something Like too many people at thanksgiving dinner . No. I mean, look, all of us i grew up in a very poor family. My parents werent dumb, they just were poor. Give us the facts, well make good decisions. We want to keep our families safe. You dont have to tell us the number of people that can show up at our dinner table. And, by the way, look at all these democrat politicians. They dont even follow their own rules like newsom out in california. Give us the facts, well make good decisions. Thats what i did when we had hurricanes, i gave people the facts, they made good decisions. Charles right. Thats why florida, without the doubt, is the most confident state in the country right now. Senator, get well, we appreciate you coming on. Right now lets pivot to the white house where we might see a couple of pardons. Welcome to all to the beautiful rose garden where the first lady actually worked very hard on renovating it. It was 61 years. It was in rough shape. Very big job, actually, when you go to the wires underground, people have no idea how complex it is. But youve done a fantastic job, thank you very much. [applause] and were also very happy to have with us my daughter ivanka and jared. And theodore, arab e lla, joseph, thank you very much for coming. I think like the turkeys. [applause] thank you very much. On behalf of the entire trump family, i want to wish every american a healthy and very happy thanksgiving. Were here today to continue a beloved annual tradition, the official president ial pardon of a very, very fortunate turkey. Because thanksgiving is a special day for turkeys. I guess probably for the most part not a very good one, when you think about it. The first turkey to dodge the white house dinner table received unofficial clemency when president abraham lincolns son, tad, begged his father to spare his new friend. For the past 73 years, the National Turkey federation has presented the National Thanksgiving turkey to the president starting under president george h. W. Bush. These birds have received a formal pardon every single year. Today its my honor to present to you this years lucky bird, corn and just in case we needed him cob. Corn and cob. Thats not too hard to remember, is it . These two magnificent gobblers were selected from the official president ial flock of 30 turkeys, some real beauties. They were raised by the chairman of the National Turkey federation himself, ron cardell. Ron, thank you very much. Please stand up. Great job. [applause] ron, thank you for being here and your family, beautiful family. Thank you very much for being here, appreciate it. Like so many president ial flocks, this one started in the great state of iowa in what can only be described as an act of blatant pandering and, by the way, i love the state of iowa these two turkeys sought to win the support of iowans across the state but naming themselves corn and cob. After todays ceremony, these birds will retire under the care of skilled veterinarians at iowa state university, a tremendous university, in ames. Once there people of all ages will be able to visit them and learn about poultry science, veterinary medicine and the noble american tradition of farming. We love our farmers, ill tell you. [applause] and we hope and we know its going to happen that corn and cob have a very long, happy and memorable life. This year our nation commemorates the 400th anniversary of the pilgrims landing on plymouth rock. After arriving in the new world, the brave men and women of the mayflower endured a bitter and dangerous winter, very, very dangerous winter. Many were sick, most were starving and all were praying for a miracle. Thankfully, god heard their prayers. From our earliest days, americas always been a story of perseverance and triumph, determination and strength, loyalty and faith. This week at a time that is very unusual but in so many ways very, very good, what weve endured and been able to endure with the vaccines now coming out one after another its an incredible thing that happened, the greatest medical achievements that this planet has ever seen, but its time to will be that we live in a great, great country, the greatest of them all. And theres nothing even close as far as im concerned. Every american can be united in thanksgiving to god for the incredible gifts he has bestowed upon us, the blessings of family, community and this sensual, beautiful and great country. Exceptional, beautiful and great country. Greater than ever before. During this its we extend our eternal gratitude to the doctors, nurses, Health Care Workers and scientists who have waged the battle against the china virus, and we give thanks for the vaccines and therapies that will soon end the pandemic. Its just such a tremendous feeling to know that theyre coming and theyll be coming probably starting next week or shortly thereafter. We send our love to every member of the armed forces and the Law Enforcement heroes risking their lives to keep america safe, to keep america great. And as i say, america first. Shouldnt go away from that. America first. [applause] we give thanks to the priceless freedoms that weve inherited, and we ask god to watch over and protect our nation and its people during this incredible holiday and all of the years to come. We ask that of god. Once again, melania and i wish to thank everybody for your incredible courtesies and also wish you a happy thanksgiving. And now its time for the moment of our guests of honor. Theyve been waiting and, in this case, hes been waiting for this and bring em out. Look at that beautiful, beautiful bird. Oh, so lucky. That is a lucky bird. [inaudible conversations] [background sounds] [laughter] corn, i hereby grant you with a full pardon. Thank you, corn. [applause] [inaudible conversations] [laughter] happy thanksgiving to everybody. Thank you very much. [applause] charles President Trump at the white house giving a pardon to a turkey, i guess a put cool customer right there, pretty excited, i guess, i would certainly be two days before thanksgiving. Meanwhile with, folks meanwhile, folks, the chiefs of operation warp speed saying theyre ready at the drop of a hat to get the vaccine to the american people, relaying the confidence that they can roll out doses week after week without stopping. At the same time, were also getting more good news from the Astrazeneca Oxford vaccine that their trial here in the states is going very well. But where do we stand on bringing life back to normal . Health and Human Services secretary alex azar joins us now, thank you very much. The first question is always about who gets the vaccine first since we no there will be a limited amount. Thathas that been worked out . Were still working on the prioritization, but you should be thinking about groups that are most vulnerable whether its seniors in Nursing Homes or those with comorbid conditions that make them vulnerable to complications or our frontline Health Care Workers and first responders. Those are the types of groups that we have spoken about as in those first tranches of distribution. But that product is just going to keep coming off the manufacturing lines, and well just keep expanding the groups and availability of vaccine week after week as general perna from the Defense Department has talked about. Charles the concern is now sort of focused on the nittygritty, the nuances of really getting that vehicle seen out from the vaccine out from the refrigeration requirements, special gloves, is the manufacturing happening . Is the money there . Its all there thanks to President Trumps operation warp speed. You know, when we built this system back earlier this year and partnered with the Defense Department to lead it right away, the general and the ows team contracted for needles and syringes and dry ice and mixing the vaccine, personal protective equipment. We now have 100 million kits already prepared and ready to marry up with approved vaccine to get out there, and is were building more as we speak. So all of those complications, all of those details have been worked out by the incredible logistics, operations and Distribution Team that we have at operation warp speed. You know, the core to it, charles, is were relying on existing tried and true systems. Were using the private sector, were using the infrastructure to get the vaccine out there not just every day, but every year whether its flu or other vaccines to the american people. Charles yeah. The flu shot, everyone in this countrys encouraged to get it, its always available. Although i think there might be great or challenges considering the composition of some of these early vaccines that are seeking approval, you know . I guess at some point well have them right in the syringe. But when you Start Talking about distribution also, what im curious about is i know the federal government operation warp speed has been extremely successful. But what about states is . What responsibility falls on them once the state gets its hands on the vaccine . And, by the way, on that note, has new york formally requested the vaccine yet . So new york hasnt necessarily formally requested it. Were going to work to make sure new yorkers get access to the vaccine unless theres some barrier imposed by the government of new york. But this vaccines going to be available to all americans who are prioritized. Were working in close collaboration with the new york team that have an excellent Distribution Plan that theyve submitted to us and worked with us on under their Health Commissioners guidance. So were doing that in all 64 jurisdictions we work with here in the united states. The roll of the states here the role of the states here is think of it more as an air traffic controller, telling us where do you want the vaccine sent to. That can be one place, it can be 5,000 places. They just have to be enrolled in the system. In addition, we rely on the astronauts to make sure their i. The systems are up to date, and weve provided the data systems to do this because we need to make sure if somebody gets a Pfizer Vaccine first, they get that second whether theyre in new york or theyve gone down the florida, they always get the psalm from the protection of patient safety. We bought the vaccine, the advantage vaccines free, as i said, we built the kits in terms of syringes and needles and the equipment needed to vaccinate. Weve set up the partnerships with cvs and walgreens and americas community pharmacies, Community Health centers, hospitals to make this feel as much like the flu vaccine experience as it can be. Charles i know there are anywhere from 120160 Companies Working on vaccines. The mrna has been most successful so far, but there are also other approaches too. Are they all benefiting from the same changes that have been made at the fda to exe perioduate something that might normally have taken three years . They are. And, in fact, that was one of the geniuses of operation warp speed was we invested in multiple platforms. The messenger rna ones, the pfizer and moderna, but the astrazeneca, Johnson Johnson and then the subunit platforms which we hope will enter into phase three Clinical Trials soon. So we spread our bets around with multiple platforms. Fortunately, the mrna ones seem to have paid off and very positive news out of the u. K. And brazil studies just on monday for astrazeneca. Charles well, secretary azar, i do want to say thank you very much. Congratulations. No matter what happens, history should look at option warp speed and how the administration and yourself, the involvement youve had, because this is something thats been done to the benefit of all man kind. So i just want to saw thank you. Well, charles, and i want to, on this thanksgiving, i want to express my thanks to President Trump for his unqualified support of operation warp speed and then for the american heros who are leading it and americas biopharmaceutical industry and especially to all of our Clinical Trial volunteers who participated in these trials. Thank you, charles. Charles absolutely, sir. Well talk to you soon. Meanwhile, folks, joe biden considering a gun owners tax, congresswomanelect is defending the second amendment. Charles well, congresswomanelect isntn in office yet but already making big waves for what she says shell do once she gets there. Republican Lauren Boebert says shell literally be carrying a firearm in the halls of the capitol. She ran in colorado, unseating a fiveterm congressman in the process. Lauren boebert joins us now, and i have to tell you, theres a major uproar about the potential of you Walking Around the halls of congress with your gun. What do you say, though, to your detractors . Well, just like most democratran cities, washington, d. C. Has a very high Violent Crime rate. I will be walking to work every day that im there, and Capitol Hill Police wont be with me on my walk to work, so i need a way to protect myself. Im a 5foot tall the, 100pound woman. I cant really defend myself against an aggressor very ease i lu, so i need a way to protect myself. As most people know, in washington, d. C. The crime rate is 158 times higher than the national average. Even the homicides are up to 180 this year, and thats a 20 increase from last year. Charles what do you make of these big cities, these big progressiveled cities like a washington, d. C. Where you have these outrageous crime rates, people in new york are afraid to even go in the subway stations anymore, but the politicians tell them not to defend themselves . How do you square that in. Well, i think most of us especially here in the freshman class of the 117th congress are coming to secure the rights of the people. Thats something that we have seen politicians kind of quit doing. Thats certainly what motivated me to get involved. Im not a politician. I was fed up with them and their empty promises. We elect them to secure our rights, and too often they give our rights away. So we are there to defend the entire constitution, the entire bill of rights and keep americans safe. And its when you get into these democratran cities when you see the violence increase, these crime rates increase, and its usually in the gunfree zones that you see violence with a firearm. And generally, if there was an armed citizen present to newtallize neutralize the threat, we wouldnt have the Mass Shootings we see. A lot of people want to come to colorado and talk about aurora. Weve had terrible tragedies take place, but one thing that theyve all had in common when you look at columbine or the aurora theater shooting is that these were defenseless victims that didnt have a way to stop their aggressor. Charles right. You know, and santa clara, california, four people have been indicted in a bribe true e scheme where, in exchange for gun permits. And those two indicted, get this, apples security chief, the second in command at the of sheriffs office, and i think it points to people wanting a gun, but it also points to these schemes that are limiting ownership, and soon that could even include a biden gun tax. Whats your thoughts on that . Well, the biden gun tax, i really hope that never see that and we see four more years of President Trump. I certainly am not prepared to concede there yet. Its far from over. But i think its a disgrace that theyre coming out of the gates with. We know that Kamala Harris is the most liberal senator that weve seen, and shes the most liberallyrated senator. And then, of course, joe biden has mentioned wanting to bring Robert Francis orourke back to the scene. And ive already confronted him in colorado, telling bay toe, hell, no, youre not going to take our guns, and i might have the opportunity again. Charles thank you very much and congratulations. Well be right back. Thank you so much. When i was in high school, this was the theater i came to quite often. The support weve had over the last few months has been amazing. Its not just a work environment. Everyone here is family. If you are ready to open your heart and your home, check us out. We thought for sure that we were done. And this town said not today. Lexus has been celebrating driveway moments. Heres to one more, the lexus december to remember sales event. Lease the 2021 nx 300 for 349 a month for 36 months and well make your first months payment. Experience amazing at your lexus dealer. Charles uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and stimulus isnt stopping people from getting their Holiday Shopping done. For more, i want to bring in richard bernstein. You know, its been awhile. Great having you back on. Last time you were on, i think you were a little more cautious than you have been in the past. Catch me up to where you are in these markets right now. How you filieeling about it . Its great to be back on again. Too bad i cant be with you in person there. Yeah, obviously since the last time i was on, theres a lot thats happened. So we went from that very incredibly defensive positioning going into the year and since april, we have actually been going the other direction. We have been sort of gradually adding back cyclicality and market risk to the portfolios alongside the improving recovery. I think right here, you want to have exposure to the areas of the market that are improving, that are likely to continue to improve into next year but you dont want to sort of go out there on a limb and not hold you dont want to jettison your defense just yet. We all know its going to be a tricky next couple months. You want to have exposure to those improving areas of the market, but you do want to have some of that defensive exposure to hold you through the next few months of uncertainty and volatility. Charles in 2020, what is defensive anymore, right . Because we have seen traditional traditional safe havens, utilities, consumer staples, real estate, they have performed very poorly. It feels like when investors get really nervous they look for apple. We know cyclical. I dont think the definition of that has changed. But the composition of portfolios and how to be positioned and are we getting ahead of ourselves yet . Yeah. You bring up a great point, charles. I think that what constitutes defense is a little bit different now. I think you want to take a little bit of a nuanced approach. For instance, this year, i would put china in the defensive camp because not only have they weathered the covid story better, but they are also cheaper and more out of favor so they are not facing some of the nearterm risk we are in the u. S. During the depths of the crisis, it was basically switzerland and china but i think you also want to own gold in the portfolio and i do think that if things get worse, you know, with things locking down and whatnot, i do think having some of that traditional defensive exposure Like Health Care and staples does make sense in the portfolio. But to your other point, is the market getting ahead of itself, i think it is clearly looking forward to 2021, with the likelihood in the second half of the year where we will have better growth, better treatments, better vaccines, but the big question is between now and then, how much nearterm pain can the market look through with cases rising, with the lockdowns increasing, and stimulus slowing. Thats a lot for the market to look through and we are not even at thanksgiving just yet. Charles thats true. The markets looking all the way to spring or summer of next year, for sure. Dan, i missed you. Thank you very much. Appreciate it. We had a lot of breaking news. We would like to have spent more time. Hope you come back soon. Of course, the market is rocking but its not just stocks. Reports of a bidding war between paypal and square has the bitcoin world in a frenzy as more wall street elites are jumping into the fray. Joining me now, Strategic Wealth partners wealth adviser and investment strategist, luke lloyd and of course, well, let me start with you. Bitcoin. Because i know you are a bull. Maybe thats an understatement. Im hearing numbers from 60,000 to 100,000. Where is bitcoin going . Charles, when it comes to bitcoin, its all about supply and demand. Ask anybody what price they are selling bitcoin at. Many people are never selling. Its their get rich money. People dont want to own bitcoin because they dont necessarily understand it. What if i told you didnt have to understand it, it all comes down to how much demand there is because there is a fixed supply and people are afraid right now, even institutions. Most institutions cant get involved until 500 billion or trillion market cap. Bitcoin is not even to 500 billion. So theres a lot of room for it to go. Im looking for 50,000 by the end of 2021. I think 100,000 is actually in the question for bitcoin. Charles wow. I will tell you, it does feel different this time. Theres no doubt about it. Of course, everyone remembers the peak three years ago, had a terrific freefall but it doesnt seem like it when you have the puel Paul Tudor Jones and paypal scooping up as much as they can get. A lot more support this time around. What about things like marijuana stocks, looking fantastic since the election . I like the 3d printing space myself. Electric vehicles. Maybe some profit taking, for the most part these things have been gangbusters. I know a lot of young investors especially are coming in, they want to make a lot of money quickly, but whats the best way to actually trade these kind of areas . A lot of these stocks are based on hype. Its really important to not chase stocks solely on hype. Its okay to go with momentum. The trend is supposed to be your friend, right . Most of the time it is. Make sure youre not buying stocks at crazy valuation. Price matters. Its important to develop a plan and stick to the plan. A Shopping List of stocks that you are wanting to buy, unless they sell off 10 , 15 , 20 , scoop them back up. The Shopping List is important for marijuana, electric vehicles, 3d printing. Its really important not to pay crazy valuations. Charles how many if you bought one of these stocks, do you use a set stop loss point . Because if you buy so many things can move down 20 and i would hate to get stopped out when maybe i should be buying it. You should always have sell and buy discipline. Thats one of the biggest finance mistakes a lot of people make when they never had a set stop loss or you should always have some price in your mind when the stock sells off 5 , 10 , 15 , whatever that be, everyone has their own risk tolerance and the risk reward metric they look to get out of a stock. Lot of people go in blindly and try to buy a stock when you should never go in blindly. You should always have a strategy. Not having a strategy is the number one way to lose money in the stock market. Charles now, some would say, im sure you got to start reading that this market is euphoric. Would you agree and if not, there has to be some concerns that you have. What is the biggest concern . I would say its not at the euphoric stage. Its more consolidation. Wall street and main street are telling two different stories. Take a look at the current environment, whats going on. Theres record stimulus and low Interest Rates are propping up equities. Theres nowhere else to get yield and return. The stock market is looking for more certainty around covid19 in the next stimulus package and what it will entail. What im most concerned about is Small Business owners. We need Small Business support as soon as possible. Charles luke, got to leave it there. You were absolutely fantastic. I hope people were taking notes. Great, great advice. All right, liz claman, you cant complain today about what im handing you. This is called a juggernaut. What are you going to do with it . Liz yeah. Juggernaut. And i was taking notes. It is a historic day, right . Either way, okay, we need to explain this to you guys. Wall street to main street. At exactly 11 28 a. M. Eastern time, the dow popped above 30,000 for the first time. Okay, but thats not what we need to see for a record. It can be lower than that. We are watching both the record and whether we close above 30,000. We are at 30,033. We got a peaceful transition of power, it appears. A vaccine that is
